Chartered Accountant, Registered Auditor: Cooking is a sideline I wish were a frontline and am a keen believer in businesses enjoying making profits.
These days, I support and sometimes coach Hurling, watch Rugby and Gaelic Football as my playing days are over. I long for the peace and solitude of fly fishing or golfing, anywhere there are no mobile phones. Surfing is something I must get back to.
I trained with PWC in Dublin and Grand Cayman before setting up in practice. I have personally developed and advised on several building developments and these days keep focused on getting all businesses paying their way. An escapade with a plane crash in 2007 severely disrupted operations but we have regained our momentum. In the middle of all that I ran into a fraudster in the USA and had to deal with him. Never a dull moment.
I am a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, and hold a Professional Diploma in Insolvency.

I arrived from Germany for a Summer 18 years ago and am still here. I joined the KB & Co. team 10 years ago, but made them wait a year until I felt ready. I am a fully qualified Accounting Technician and a member of Accounting Technicians Ireland.
Outside the office, I like fast cars, photography and all the glamour that goes with that. I climbed to Mount Everest Base Camp in 2014, the views and people up there were unforgettable.

My hobbies are walking, cooking and interior design and I love hearing new quotes and my favourite quote is “if your ship doesn’t come in, swim out to it”.
I attended Clifden Community School and have completed the Business Secretarial Course there which led to my working in administration for the past 22 years. I am ashore now, but previously lived on Inishbofin for 10 years • I am interested in technology but keep that a secret to most people.
